Coins with QR code released in Netherlands have been touted the first of its kind in the world to have so. They were made available from 22nd June in both silver (5€ ) and gold (10€). The code simplifies into www.q5g.nl connecting the owner to the “Dutch Ministry of Finance page” , from where you could check out what this is all about. Enjoy!

The coins, as you should have expected, were produced in limited amounts and commemorates the 100 years of the national mint in Utrecht.
