Head-lock is a device that doubles as a helmet and wheel lock for bicyclists

June 30th, 2011 | No Comments | Posted in Design

Cycling is green and healthy. That is why more and more people are opting for it. With the benefits come certain inconveniences  like carrying along a helmet and of course bicycle theft. Head-lock provides a solution to tackle both of the difficulties as it can be worn as a head guard and also used as a wheel lock.

The helmet transforms into a lock when the movable white part of the Head-lock is rotated to form a sort of clasp that grips on the bicycle wheel. A number dial on the helmet is shuffled by the user to secure the bike.

Designed by Lim Seokjoong, Kim Younghye, Kwon Zion, and Na Hyesook, the Head-lock is indeed a useful device for bicyclists.
