Arrange books in a jiffy with the Scroll Bookshelf

July 6th, 2011 | No Comments | Posted in Design

Scrolls in ancient times were used as a means of storing information, paintings etc but here, the very structure of the same has been cleverly used to hold books.

The Scroll Bookshelf shaped in the form of a scroll consists of a metal sheet within a plastic cover which when rolled out can keep a pile of books restricted within two cylinders. What’s more, each cylinder serves as a storage unit to shove in pens, pencils and any other belongings of yours. Xin-Hung Lin, Pei-Yi Chiu, Chia-Rung Shu and Wung-Bing Lin are the designers of the Scroll Bookshelf.
