Bored with the conventional soldering tools? Here’s a revamped version called Lepen by Moonhwan Lee. The system which consists of a Soldering Pen and a Pen Holder has made it to the IDEA 2011 finalist round.

The shape of the soldering pen allows the user to have a firm grip on the tool while also simultaneously making it possible to change the settings of the associated switch by easy toggling. It even comes with a chamber with a removable cover for inserting or replacing a solder. While the pen holder might seem to be a typical pen stand it serves as a recharger and smoke absorber as well.
