Are you a Windows fan? Well, if you are…then you may already know that Microsoft has its next generation OS, a.k.a. Windows 8 Developer Preview for a free download. However, it’s free for a year, which means after that time you will have to get rid of it. For most techies it is fine, since getting a chance to drive the much talked-about OS should be quite a pleasure.

However, don’t expect it to run on your ARM-based tablet. There isn’t any support for that…yet. For now, it is x86-only. The final version is expected to be released sometime late 2012.
