Designed by Diana Lin, what you can see are light emitting pillows called the d°light Huggable G2. It can not only be used as a light source but can be hugged or used as a head rest as well.

When lighted and kept in a room it imparts a glow that mimics the warmth of the sun. The glow “comes from the 12 LED lights, encased in small silicone bubbles and stashed inside a translucent pillow cover.”  It uses regular AA non rechargeable batteries or can be just plugged into the wall with the AC adapter.
