One of the top online retailers, Zappos.com has been hacked. Their user database has been completely compromised, which means sensitive data like names, emails, customer address, credit cards numbers (last four digits) and even encrypted passwords have been exposed.

Tony Hsieh (CEO – Zappos.com) emailed to all Zappos Employees…”We were recently the victim of a cyber attack by a criminal who gained access to parts of our internal network and systems through one of our servers in Kentucky. We are cooperating with law enforcement to undergo an exhaustive investigation.

Around 24 million accounts have been affected.
