Although NEC hasn’t quite provided the actual specs of the LaVie Z, the company’s primary focus for this product was its weight. “This is a revolutionary new material specific gravity of about 50% of the aluminum has been used primarily in the body of a typical lightweight personal computer, about 75% of magnesium. ”
