The wonderful world of oceans houses innumerable types of species, some of which we know about while some may still be unknown. That’s why when mysterious looking floating objects are captured by deep sea cameras we definitely get interested.

The creature above was photographed by underwater camera near a drilling spot in UK. What seems to be a giant wavy layer of floating material was seen to have patterns on its surface and displayed organs as well. Scientist Steven Haddock at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute has identified the aquatic creature to be the Deepstaria enigmatica jellyfish!
