The Height Recorder makes measuring heights through the years musically wonderful
Marking heights of a growing child along the wall is a fun process that we enjoy to do. Comparing successive heights throughout the years makes it all the more exciting. How about making those moments musically memorable?
Weiche Wu has come up with an interesting idea which he explains as a Height Recorder. What you need to do is make markings [a marking per year] on the stick provided, to record a child’s growth along the years. When the child grows up the stick can be cut along the markings and arranged to be made into musical scales on a xylophone. The pieces are arranged in accordance with the increase in years; so when a mallet is glided from one end to other, it reverberates the individual’s growing up days. Like it?
