As of now you might be actually wondering what is ‘Code Club’? Want to know? Then read on.

Code Club is an association in UK that aspires to bring young thoughtful minds closer to the fun of coding. The club formed by Clare Sutcliffe and Linda Sandvik works with the purpose of instilling the concept of coding at a very young age [10-11 yrs.] to encourage thinking and innovation.

As of now they have launched a network, that involves 25 schools across Britain, led by volunteers who inspire children to write codes and learn about them. The aim is to overcome the insufficiency that exists in terms of having skilled IT intelligence across UK. By introducing the various aspects of technology related expertise to the little brains at work, they believe in making a major transformation in the thought process required by the future generations whose lives would immensely depend on digital technology.

By 2014 the plan is to have Code Club thriving in about a quarter of primary schools in Britain. Check out the video below [which feature a number of amazing personae of the industry] to get a glimpse of why there’s a necessity of having the Code Club.
