Microsoft announced today that Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 users can upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for just $39.99. The download would be easy and will be available in 131 markets worldwide.

You would also have the option to buy a DVD-edition, if you don’t prefer to download. But that will cost you little more…$69.

These promotions will end on January 31st., 2012.
