Drowning in debt salt and pepper shakers

July 17th, 2012 | No Comments | Posted in Design

We have come across plenty of amusing product designs. They can emerge from situations or as inspirations. While some can be funny some can signify a message pertaining to a subject. Case in point is the Drowning In Debt Salt And Pepper Shakers.

The pair, as explained by designer Sebastian Errazuriz is a representation of workers in the current economic scenario. The filled up seasoning bottles reflect the sorry situation of the workers buried in debt which gradually lessens as the seasonings get used up only to be drowned again as they get refilled.
