Sounds interesting, right? An umbrella without the canopy to guard us leaves us wondering how Airblow 2050 actually functions. Well, the name itself provides us the hint.
Airblow 2050 works by creating an air-guard to protect the user from the rain. The stick holds within itself a motor which when activated sucks in air and blows the same out from the top creating an air barricade that stops the rain drops from reaching us. Not only awkward collisions with strangers can be thwarted using this special umbrella, maintenance too would get easier without the need of any drying. What do you think about it?
Airblow 2050 has been conceived by Quentin Debaene for the James Dyson Award as it is based on Dyson’s technology.
