Awesome futuristic pyramid in Kazakhstan

Astana, the new capital of Kazakhstan is now home to the world’s one of the most impressive looking pyramid structure. After 2 years of design and construction and a cost of US$55 million (est.), this masterpiece is finally complete. It was designed by the British company foster + partners and was built to accommodate the political traditional religious groups.

Anara Tower – Another beautiful skyscraper in Dubai

Dubai is all set to create as well as break every single record hold by any previous man-made structures. There is no doubt about it anymore. Already, home to the world’s tallest skyscraper Burj Dubai, Dubai has one more wonder coming up sometime in 2009. The 2150 ft. Anara Tower is just 500 ft. shorter than Burj Dubai, but is definitely one of the prettiest skyscrapers of modern era.

2010 Ford hybrids to have awesome SmartGauge instrument panels

Ford will introduce some really cool SmartGauge video instrument panels for their 2010  hybrid models of Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan. The speedometer will be in the center, but on either side it will show you the “EcoGuide” in real-time animation. This will give you how much energy you are consuming while driving.

Dual pane LCD screens

Dual pane LCD…does’nt that sound interesting? Here’s a neat conceptual design suggested by Mac Funamizu, where instead of two seperate LCDs, all you need to do is just overlap them. This gives you a sense of depth making the images/text on the LCD look 3D and ofcourse, really cool.  I would say, a great idea for a cell phone!
