Attractive flower designed brooches are made from plastic bottles

For a few days we have been going through some recycled products [like lamps, cabintrolley, hand bags, cellphone] which by all means supported the cause of being eco-friendly. For a better and greener earth people also came up with ideas like scraplights and cardboard drives. Now what we have here are upcycled products because these pretty colorful brooches are made from simple discarded bottles and then hand painted.

USB drive – Solar charger combo for the true green energy advocates

We have seen several types of USB drives, but this is something really new. Created by Korea’s Zyrus, the device you see above is a USB solar charger which is good enough to recharge your digital camera, MP3 player or cellphone. It is called the Sun Drive and supply upto  “35 hours of power, and can charge your cell phone with up to 100 minutes of talk time“.

Bags made from recycled PET bottles

What you see above is a simple equation indeed. Yes,what you see is true. The carrier has really been made by utilizing such a large number of recycled PET bottles. The Spanish company fun&basics have used a new fabric called ECOALF made from recycled PET bottles, to make a toilet bag[17 bottles], a small bag[83 bottles], a cabin trolley and a large luggage bag[148 bottles].

Cellphone made from Corn by Samsung

In an attempt to make the world a better place to live, Samsung in collaboration with Sprint has come up with the world’s first cellphone made from natural corn. The product named Reclaim is actually made from 80% recycled materials. This mobile phone with QWERTY keyboard is completely free from PVC and “almost” free of BFR.

Gorgeous lamps from recycled plastic PET bottles

Again we bring before you some lamps which definitely are different from what we have already seen. The cassette tape lamps not only added glow and glitter to a room but defined how discarded or obsolete things could be reused properly[ saving the earth from being the plastic holder]. Similarly these lamps in the pictures show how recycled plastic PET bottles can be utilized and re-purposed to create such gorgeous lamps.
