Amazing capture of lightning strikes on Chicago’s three tallest skyscrapers
Let’s face it. No one really likes a storm. In fact, forget ‘liking’ it, most people simply hate it. A storm just ruins the day. But for photographers it’s a different story.Captured by Craig Shimala, this video includes the capture of three different lightning strikes on three of the tallest buildings in Chicago, all at the same time.
Amazing Infinity Pool in Singapore
What you see above is a swimming pool, 55 storeys up. But make no mistake, this isn’t any ordinary pool you will come across in a luxury hotel everyday. The Infinity Pool (as it is called), is the world’s largest swimming pool standing at a whopping 650 ft. in length. That’s over four times the length of a Olympic-sized pool (164 ft.). The pool is a part of the newly opened Marina Bay Sands hotel in Singapore.
‘Ballman’, a tribute to all World Cup football fans
Isn’t it amazing? Everyone calls this the ‘Ballman‘. Created from 3000 footballs that have been suspended from steel wires, this massive installation portrays a player in action with a football. So where do you think you should expect it to be? The gigantic ‘football sculpture’ from Nike is in display at the Carlton Shopping Mall at Johannesburg, South Africa for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
