WWF, the new planet-friendly file format that’s just impossible to print

Love your planet? Well, we all do. So let’s try our best to contribute. First ensure that you don’t need a ‘hard’ copy of the document, then just go ahead and print it in WWF. Once you do that, the electronic document cannot be printed (in paper) anymore. Currently available for Mac OS X, Windows version is coming soon.

WordPress launches new HTML 5 theme

WordPress recently launched a new HTML 5 friendly theme called Toolbox, for its popular blogging platform. The theme is extremely minimalistic though, so if you are interested you may have to tweak it to a fair extent. “A semantic, HTML5, canvas for CSS artists and an ultra-minimal set of super-clean templates for your own WordPress theme development.

Microsoft introduces ‘Montage’, a customizable online magazine

Microsoft recently unveiled a new online application that would allow users to see what’s ‘cool’  on the internet. It is impressively customizable by the user and shows real-time content from various popular websites including Twitter, Youtube and Bing News.

Google launches the Chrome Web Store

If you still think Google’s Chrome doesn’t have enough plug-ins, extensions or themes as your Firefox does, then think again. Today Google launched the Chrome Web Store, “an online marketplace where you can discover thousands of apps, extensions and themes for Google Chrome. ” Honestly, there is a whole bunch of interesting web applications, some of which are really advanced. Time to download Chrome, if you still haven’t!

Google Docs has been around for quite a while now. Although there isn’t any shortage of office productivity tools for the iPhone and Android devices, Google Docs didn’t quite have the required features to be considered as a mobile office “on-the-go” application.

Opera 11 alpha version released

If you are a dedicated fan of the Opera browser, then you would probably like to know that company has just released the Opera 11 alpha version. The much improved browser now includes support for HTML5 server-sent events and websockets. The best part…it now allows a whole bunch of extensions similar to that of Firefox and Chrome. The browser is currently available for download for Windows, Mac and Linux.

Equipped with a 72″ mirror and an iPad, the system allows you to shuffle through a whole variety of fashionable garments offered by Macy’s. You can then flick it over to the mirror and visualize yourself  wearing what ever you have selected.
