Firefox 4 Beta 3 now supports multi-touch

The newest beta of the latest Firefox edition, a.k.a version 4, not only features hundreds of bug fixes, but also something a lot of fans were waiting eagerly…the ‘multi-touch’ functionality. In addition to that it also has a JavaScript update that allows faster execution of graphics and animations. A few videos are attached to give you a better understanding about the multi-touch feature.

Firefox 4 Beta 1 for Windows is now available for download

Firefox, a browser that literally saved the web from a monopoly disaster, is now available in its fourth avatar. Although in Beta 1, version 4.0 is reported to be quite stable. Among its new features the most important is probably the new sleeker look, somewhat similar to Google’s Chrome, only better. It also features a new Add-On Manager, support for WebM format (to let you watch open HD quality video), and a better privacy control.

Nokia N900 reported to run Android 2.2 very ‘smoothly’

Whether you would agree or not, Nokia N900 is still the most powerful mobile phone in the list of zillion phones manufactured by the Finnish giant. And most phone geeks will almost certainly agree that this particular phone is a hacker’s paradise. As if just to further prove that, a hacker tried to run Android 2.2 a.k.a. Froyo. And guess what? It runs pretty well. The hardware support was pretty neat and so was the web browsing.

Crysis 2 graphics reported to be more than just ‘spectacular’

Crysis has been around from November 2007. Other than being one of the most realistic video games ever, it is also amazing fun to play. And now its next edition a.k.a. Crysis 2, scheduled to be released sometime later in 2010, has reported to be literally ‘jaw-dropping’. It’s just ridiculously realistic and killer fun. Developed by Crytek and based on the powerful CryEngine 3, the game will be released for Sony PlayStation, Microsoft Windows and XBox 360.

Nao Robots perform at Shanghai 2010 Expo

What should you expect from a group of robots? Of course something special. How about some dance moves from the batch? The performance video is one from the Shanghai 2010 Expo in which each of the Nao Robots made their debut to mark the Expo’s French Pavilion Day. Built by the French firm Aldebaran Robotics, the Nao Robots are capable of acting as a group completely in sync.
