Spiderpodium, a touch of arthropod for your gadget dock

That’s undoubtedly very creepy, eerie and…go ahead and fill in all the adjectives that spontaneously comes to your mind. Looks like they are about to crawl! Called the Spiderpodium, it acts as a very handy tool for your little portable gadgets whenever you are in the need of some stability. It can be “used as a stand for your mp3 player, as a tripod for your camera or as a dock for your SatNav“.

Facebook surpasses Google to become the most visited website in the U.S.

Social networking website Facebook surpassed the search giant Google as the most visited website in the U.S. Although this is not a world-wide data, still we all have to appreciate the fact that Facebook jumped a massive 185% in a year (based on U.S. traffic). For a small or low ranked website this is no big deal, but for a website which is already in the top 5 list, it is a huge colossal leap. On a comparative scale the traffic for Google increased by a meager 9% for the same period. And when you combine Google.com and Facebook.com? You basically cover 14% of all internet traffic in the U.S.

Selecting fresh vegetables from market could be that easy!

Processed foods unlike natural ones have a date mentioned on the package that make it possible for us to know when to use and  for how long we could keep them. How about a similar way to determine the freshness of whole veggies and fruits? Some people do have the ability to judge from the veggies itself but for others like me this concept of Fresh Code application would be a great help.

Chocolate powered Racing Car

Race cars and vegetables…I guess, it doesn’t quite sound right. You might be wondering whether this is an advertisement for a car or vegetables? Before you get anymore confused meet Lola the WorldFirst Formula 3 racing car which can be powered by chocolate derivatives or plant based oils and has steering wheel made from carrots, seat from soybeans and other parts from potato and flax.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 preview available for download, to support HTML5

Microsoft IE9 preview version is currently available for download. Although it is far from “ready”, you can still take a tour of it. The preview edition does not include the typical IE user interface, no back button and not even any security. But it includes Microsoft’s JavaScript engine codenamed “Chakra”.  Probably the most important feature of the um coming browser is its support for HTML5.

A free form of seating extravaganza

Like the flow? Basically when we see this kind of a shape it makes us think of a river that curves, bends and flows without any barrier. Likewise this seating arrangement has been named as FreeFlow Seating and can be manipulated into any desired curvy shapes. Inspired by flyovers the furniture consists of two parts; one of which is the base for seating while the other is the elevated slimmer portion acting as the backrest.
