Blu-Ray 3D is ready, AMD to give a demo in CES 2010

Be prepared to experience something new next year. Blu-Ray 3D will be officially out, making movie viewing experience like never before. AMD is a key player in this technology and the company plans to show what the technology can actually do, in CES 2010. Rick Bergman of the AMD explains, “Stereoscopic 3D is set to be one of these technologies, and that’s why AMD has committed the time and resources to ensure that when Blu-ray stereoscopic 3D is ready for the world, AMD will be ready to bring it to consumers“.

AMD breaks the 7GHz barrier with hyper-cooled helium

We have heard about various overclocking speeds, but this is pure insane! At a recent fun overclocking event hosting by AMD, the company showed some crazy overclocking tips & tricks. The folks out there managed to break the 7Ghz speed barrier by overclocking a Phenom II processor. Since, heat is “the” biggest enemy for any processor, AMD made this possible by hyper-cooling the device by using liquid helium.
