Today, Apple launched a 128B version of the 4th generation iPad. Available in both Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + Cellular, this new iPad with Retina display has double the storage capacity, and will also be available in both white and black. Apple says, “With more than 120 million iPads sold, it’s clear that customers around the world love their iPads…”
Apple recently revealed the number of iPad (4th generation) and iPad Minis sold this opening weekend. It seems to be 3 million units. As per Apple CEO Tim Cook, “We set a new launch weekend record and practically sold out of iPad minis“.
The Chinese website BoloPad claims to have a couple of “spy” photos of the rumored iPad Mini. They seem to be certain this is the real deal. Measured at 7.85 inches, it seem to also feature Apple’s latest connector technology, a.k.a. Lightning.

The earth’s biggest online bookstore Amazon.com, finally reaches a milestone. The e-Commerce leader recently revealed that it sold more Kindle books than hardcover books, consistently for the last three months. When compared, for every 143 Kindle books it sold just 100 hardcover books. As of now the company has around 630,000 Kindle books, an amount that is negligible when compared to the millions of hard cover books it has available.
