Electric cars are not new, but few companies have been as pioneering as Mazda in this area. Now they are coming up with something no one has seen before…KAAN. The car has been designed to compete in the E1 races. It uses Mazda’s patented electronic tire system technology and can reach speeds upto 250 mph with absolutely no harmful emissions !

Moller International, the experts in personal vertical takeoff and landing aircrafts, is coming up with something revolutionary. A flying car ! The model is based on the Ferrari 599 GTB (approx. US$315,000) and would be available in another 2 years. The care will have the ability to take off vertically and hover around. It will be powered by eight super-powerful thrusters which push the air vertically down, enough for take off.
Takara-Tomy released a remote controlled toy which can run on the floor, any plain wall or window, and even the ceiling! Can you believe it? And it is not a military funded super-complex research project, it is just a commercial toy. And how exactly they are doing it? Simple. Its internal vacuum system literally glue it to many surfaces.
Ford will introduce some really cool SmartGauge video instrument panels for their 2010 hybrid models of Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan. The speedometer will be in the center, but on either side it will show you the “EcoGuide” in real-time animation. This will give you how much energy you are consuming while driving.
The 5th Peugeot Design Competition closed back in 2nd Oct. This time the theme was “Imagine the Peugeot of the future World Megalopolis”. Ofcourse the designs were all concept-based rather than commercial. The winners have been announced and this is what they came up with:
