Google says Chrome OS may be able to run PC apps from the browser

A note from Google engineer Gary Kačmarčík indicates that the upcoming Chrome OS may be able to run native PC-based applications from the browser itself. Obviously if true, it will be a great breakthrough for the world’s first web-based OS. Running legacy apps is something Google is terming as “Chromoting”. Print from your iPad or any other mobile device with Google Cloud Print

Mobile devices cannot print. A lot of people found this to be a problem, although I am not sure why. Your iPad or your mobile phone is simply not meant for it.
