Google says an average of 60,000 Android phones are shipped everyday

As per Google, there are almost 60,000 Android based cellphones being shipped every day, worldwide. Google CEO Eric Schmidt revealed this data at the Mobile World Congress. Considering this data is correct, this means that the total number of Android phones sold would be over 20 million a year. That’s a massive amount, which is enough to put Android ahead of all the iPhone sales by the end of 2010 or early 2011.
