Firefly, a unique energy efficient lamp-table combo

This is the Firefly. As you can see, it looks like a simple glass table with an inbuilt light, but there’s something more to it. The special flower like pattern on the table isn’t just a design but are solar panels. The table, which has been designed to be an outdoor furniture for restaurants or homes, makes use of the solar panel to store energy during the day. At night the same table can be lit up with the attached lamp using power from the stored energy.

Mico Lamp is a mushroom lookalike having a mushroom shaped reflection

Take a look at this lamp, which apparently seems to be mushroom-like structure. Although you can call it a mushroom lamp with its light enclosed within, the peculiar and pretty noticeable thing is the mushroom looking reflection created at the base of the lamp. Doesn’t it look like the red Super Mario mushroom? Although the lamp might not be colored, the splash of color is created by the lower diffuser which is the red multi-holed disc present just where the gills of an actual mushroom would have been.

Shopping Cart redesigned into functional Objects with an Objective

The design and the color is striking enough to not miss our glances because we are well acquainted with what we see above. It’s the shopping cart but if you look closely and carefully you can see some new structures resembling the shopping cart pattern. So what are these? Restructured from an abandoned shopping cart from the city of Los Angeles, designer Ramon Coronado has created a chair, a table, a lamp and a swing. In his neighborhood there’s a desperate need of recreational facilities for children who otherwise play on the roads and so he uses his skills to create such fun-filled objects for them to enjoy.

Key Lamp requires a key to unlock it

The design is evidently different because we might have never thought of a lamp that would need a key to switch it on. In place of a normal switch you use a key to unlock the lamp [or in other words turn on the light]. If one just wants something different for the sake of it to be unusual then the person can go for it, but the simple reason of having another key for a lamp in the already existing bunch of keys is rather unusual.

Fireplace Frame – convert clutter into creativity

Isn’t that a beautiful piece of art? Well of course I am talking about the white frame that’s just waiting for a beautiful picture to be set within. What more do you notice? Yes, the frame lining is continuous without any break. Take a more closer look. As you follow the pattern you will eventually realize what you see in totality as a frame is actually a very lengthy cable creatively used to function as a wall decor rather than being a messy pile up.

Meet the largest lamp ever

What you see above is obviously something you don’t see everyday. It is a lamp alright, and as evident, a really really big one. The design is inspired by the shape of a Chinese lantern. The idea is also similar to a hot air balloon. A lamp size so humongous obviously will require a really large room to fit, not to mention the room would also need a fair amount of free space to actually let you enjoy the uniqueness of the lamp. It is called the “XXXL(amp)” which perfectly fits with it’s size.
