T-shirts brought forward by telecom operator Orange is said to have the technology to charge phones with sound vibrations. That is why the prototype will be tested at the Glastonbury festival wherein the users can connect their phones to the ‘Sound Charge’ shirts for powering them up.
The future is here. The Korean electronics giant LG is scheduled to launch the LG GD910 “watchphone” in UK starting this August. Although a cellphone integrated in a watch is not exactly something new, the commercial success for products like these has not been much. To be precise very few companies have actually tried selling these phones (or watches). As per the UK based online magazine T3, the official carrier for this cellphone will be Orange.
