More Chrome OS screenshots surface

Few more screenshots of the upcoming PC operating system from Google shows up again. A lot of people are betting on Chrome OS which is actually targeted to netbooks. TechCrunch reports the following screenshots. One thing is noticeably different from other desktop OS is the size of the application icons…may be because the OS will support touch functionality or may be just because its a netbook thing.

Finally…Google announces Chrome OS to be launched before mid-2010

I think this is one of those “inevitable” moments in technology/computer science. Google finally revealed its plan to launch their own operating system…Chrome OS. The estimated arrival date would be around second half of next year. The OS will be capable to run on x86 (Intel / AMD)  powered computers as well as ARM processors.
