Crabs in vending machines and that too alive is just something you can’t believe until you see for yourself! Well, it has happened in Nanjing, China where there’s a special vending machine that serves fresh Shanghai Hairy Crabs in plastic packages. The machine temperature is kept at 5 degree C so that the crabs stay in “hibernation”. By any chance if the machine vends a dead crab, they promise to give 3 fresh ones as a refund.

The new touch-based system called aCure, installed in the Shinagawa Station in Tokyo, is probably the inception of the next generation vending machines. Instead it will actually prepare the fresh dough, shape it up like a true pizza, put sauce on it, put the required toppings on top and then cook it!! Yes, you read it right.
