World’s most expensive game console for $490,000

After the multi-million dollar iPhone 3GS, Stuart Hughes now brings you the world’s most expensive video game console. At around $490,000 you can be the proud owner of this Nintendo Wii Supreme. It has 5.5 pounds of solid 22ct gold. That’s not all. The front side has a whole bunch of 0.25 carats diamonds, 78 of them. Unfortunately, you would still need to use your old standard plastic controller though.

Nintendo Wii sells over 2 millions unit in November

To everyone’s surprise, Nintendo Wii was the most sold game console in the month of November this year. That is almost twice what they sold last year which was around 981,000 units. It even surpasses Nintendo’s own hand-held and cheaper console, Nintendo DS, which sold 1.57 million units.
