With the help of SnapShots, Livbit stories can now show a screenshot of the target link. All you need is to drag your mouse pointer on the comment bubble.  The Snap has it’s own controls. You can maximize the size of the preview and drag it along using the mouse. Pretty neat! Thanks SnapShots!

The “Programming” topics/category is now gone. Although having topics like Java, AJAX, C/C++ etc. was interesting, it was too focused on software developers/programmers. Due to the lack of news posted related to these topics we finally had to pull them out. Now “Programming” is a part of the “Technology” topic and all posts related to Java, HTML, CSS, AJAX, C/C++, Database, CMS etc. have been moved to “Programming”, “Web technologies” and other topics inside “Technology”.

The primary link menu near the header has been changed a little bit. Previously, when a user used to login, the navigation links (menu at the right sidebar) was also visible at the top. We have changed this. Now, the top menu shows the “submit” and the “recent” links only. This gives a cleaner look-n-feel and also reduces ambiguity. 

Livbit.com now has a blog. All the website updates, changes and new features will be described in brief in this blog. Other than blogging about Livbit, it will also include blogs about gadgets & technology (well atleast that’s the plan). Until then, enjoy posting your favorite stories/bookmarks & urls!. Thanks! ~Amit
