We have been looking at a variety of artworks crafted from different materials like museum tickets, old books, waste wood pieces etc. Basically up-cycling is the factor that is doing the rounds, wherein materials that may just litter or end up in piles have been collected and composed into mind boggling structures. The forms and patterns you see in these pictures vividly portray an altogether segregated world; full of colors, energy and passion but again has been built with discarded ‘worldly’ things.
These vibrant works have been created by two graduates of Rhode Island School of Design who use lottery tickets and romance novels to puff life to their thoughts and imagination. Using dreams and fantasies [lottery tickets + romance novels] to build dream projects is a unique idea by itself and may be that’s why their collection is titled under Ghost of a Dream. More of their charismatic works can be found at at Ghost of a Dream. Enjoy!
