Microsoft may be making All-in-one desktops similar to iMac


Microsoft is rumored to be making All-in-one PCs (AIO) soon. According to recent industry sources, it seems the company is working with supply chain operators to develop AIO PCs, possibly as a part of its successful “Surface” line. Although Microsoft has not confirmed this, it seems the estimated launch time will be third quarter of 2016 or later.

Apple tops the list for reliability and service

PC World recently conducted a survey based on reliability and service provided by manufacturers. The survey indicates consumer feedback for a period of one year. Apple “smoked the competition” when it came to desktop, notebook and smartphones. It seems Asus also did well among both desktop and laptop owners.

Acer Predator Desktop – Even scarier than the real one


Remember the Predator? The deadly alien with its even deadlier killings. Check out the Aspire G from ASUS a.k.a. the Predator. As the name suggest the machine does have killer specs…Intel Core i7-950 3.06GHz processor with 6GB DDR3 RAM  which is upgradeable to a staggering 12GB! It is powered by Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit edition which although isn’t the favorite OS around, is still remarkably faster than its 32-bit counterpart.

ASUS debuts it’s humongous 18.4 inch W90-X1 laptop in the US: The ultimate desktop replacement?


The largest laptop I had ever used was my PowerBook 17″ G4. Even though it was less than 7 lbs, it felt really heavy. Gone are those days when you considered 17″ laptops to be your desktop replacement. Check out this laptop from ASUS which has a 18.4 inch screen and a weight of 11.5 lbs! (Holy mother earth!!)
