According to a Harris Poll report, Samsung has surpassed Apple in terms of brand popularity among U.S. based consumers. While this may come as a surprise for quite a few Apple fans, there is no doubt that Samsung’s popularity jumped in the last 4 years, especially after it opened up numerous mini stores inside BestBuy, and probably from the success it had from its SmartTV line up.

Samsung unveils ‘Ativ Q’ tablet thats runs both Android and Windows 8

Samsung recently launched two tablets, the high-end 13.3-inch convertible Ativ Q and the smaller 10.1-inch Ativ Tab 3, at a press event in London. The Ativ Q (13.3-inch) will be powered by Intel Haswell Core i5 CPU and will feature 4GB of DDR3 RAM and a 128GB SSD.

Samsung officially announces the Galaxy S4 zoom


Korean giant, Samsung Electronics, has officially announced the Galaxy S4 zoom. Basically, a combination of the Galaxy S4 mini and a 16MP point and shoot camera, the Galaxy S4 zoom features a 10X optical zoom, a decent 4.3-inch qHD display, a 1.5 Ghz dual-core CPU, a 1.5GB RAM and a 8GB internal storage (expandable via microSD).
